Manipulated from the image All Across The Land 7 this image is one in my HDR (High Dynamic Range ) Series. Taken in the middle of nowhere in rural North Dorset the shadow cast by the afternoon sun on the open barn was long across the field of Rapeseed (aka Field Mustard or Canola) creating a great panoramic view. The colours are bold and the scene far more dramatic than the original photograph.....I hope you like it!

Never seen an open barn like this before. Wow, this remote location with the bold yellow color of the Field Mustard contrasts with the looming storm and dramatic clouds above. Perhaps just me but I feel the presence of the sun in the sky not from above but in the color of the field; warm and sunny golds. The lines and shadows across the field also creates a sense of cinematic drama. Wonderful capture!
