Second in the Kaleidoscope Patchwork Series is a similar theme to the first but with a twist.....in the shape of a cross. This artwork came about by accident but when the shape revealed itself I liked the look of it and tweaked here and there until it was as you now see it.
As with all our kaleidoscopes/Mandalas they start life as straightforward photographs, after some manipulating and enhancing they have a new, intricate and contemporary look.
It's great that you've found your way to my corner of the art world.....welcome!!! You'll see from my Galleries that I like a wide range of styles, I see myself as arty rather than a overly technical photographer. I often see the beauty in small parts of a larger scene resulting in truly abstract images. I also enjoy manipulating photographs to achieve unique pieces of artwork. Apart from a large variety of photographs, I have many digitally manipulated pieces and some artwork which has been purely computer generated. Hopefully everything is where you expect it to be, you will find some art in more than one collection but just ask if you can't see what you're looking for.
