Description
Vicars' Close is said to be the oldest residential street in Europe. The buildings buildings date back to the mid 14th century. The far end of the terraced rows is 10 feet closer together than the end the image is taken from in order to make it look longer. Wells is a beautiful cathedral City and has been since medieval times and a great place to visit and photograph.

Hi Wendy~~Such an intriguing and very historic architectural grouping of terraced houses with eye-catching perspective! Imagine residential houses dating back to the mid 14th century- such longevity. It just shows how things can last if built properly with durable materials. An amazing scene in Somerset, England. Love this! Will F&L

You're right Will...I'm none too sure that houses today will last as long as these lovely ones have. Thanks for the compliments and have a great weekend, Wendy
